I came across this makeup brand, Trestique, on Instagram one day. It looked interesting and I am a sucker for a minimal makeup routine. So, I thought I’d give it a try. I tried out their Tinted Face Stick, Highlighter, and Bronzer. I will say, this is not a sponsored post/review. I paid for these products on my own. I just like sharing my thoughts on products, books, etc.
1. Tinted Face Stick: This was a huge miss for me. It did not blend at all. The color was way off, even though it’s the color they suggested. It looked almost pure orange on me (I picked the 2nd lightest color, Paradise Island Beige). Also, the sponge on the end is cheap. It did not work for blending and didn’t feel soft at all. I do like that this is vegan and actually wish it worked for me. Sadly, it did not.
2. Highlight Stick: Love this one. Probably my favorite of the three products that I tried. It goes on so smooth. It shows up extremely well on the skin. I got the color Maldives Luminescent. This is also vegan (all of their makeup is, I believe). The sponge is, again, kind of cheap, but it works for the highlight. I really just use my fingers though.
3. Bronzer Stick: This one was kind of in the middle for me. It goes on very similar to the highlight. It blends fairly well (not as good as the highlight). But, there is only one color and I don’t think it’s suited for all skin types. And, the brush on this one is so incredibly cheap and does absolutely nothing for blending.
Overall, I will probably not buy any of these again. They are on the pricey side, in my opinion. And, since the highlight was the only one I absolutely loved, I don’t see the point in spending that kind of money on them again.
